Wholesale VDSL2 Service Pilot
The Wholesale VDSL2 Service (WVS) pilot enables service providers to test with their staff or selected end-users our super-fast VDSL2 broadband service. VDSL2 is a third generation DSL technology and will deliver a significantly faster broadband experience than ADSL2+.
WVS is designed to suit home and small business use.
There are two variants available during the pilot:
- WVS without POTS - a VDSL2 enabled service without an active analogue telephone service on the same copper line.
- WVS with POTS - a VDSL2 enabled service with an active analogue telephone service on the same copper line. The analogue telephone service is not provided as part of the WVS pilot, but can be ordered separately from Telecom Wholesale.
Key Benefits
By taking part in the WVS pilot service providers:
- can gain experience in a pilot environment in order to better prepare for use of the commercial service
- have the opportunity to provide feedback on the service experience as details of our commercial service are being finalised.
